Our counselor Luna Flynn joined the King Family in the 2025-2026 school year, and we are very lucky to have her. Luna brings a welcoming and validating attitude to our space. A few of Luna's roles at King include coordination of:
  • New student intake meetings and orientation 
  • Academic and personal counseling, including anxiety/stress management
  • Personal coaching and support 
  • Field trips to local colleges and trade programs
  • Guest Speakers and visiting activities 
  • Dual Enrollment (concurrent enrollment in Sacramento City College)
  • Attendance check-ins
  • Referrals to outside services for mental health therapy, help with addiction/substance use, and other community resources
