King High Field Trip to Impossible Acres

King High student with kittensWe had an amazing week at King High, with field trips to both the Impossible Acres Pumpkin Patch and Sac City College. Thanks to our amazing counselor, Sharlese Jones, for organizing these credit-earning opportunities for students.

At Impossible Acres, our students had the opportunity to re-experience a classic field trip usually associated with early elementary school years. Connecting positive experiences with school is a huge part of our work to build relationships and foster a love of learning/the learning environment in our students. Providing a baby animal-filled space for our students and staff to interact with each other, and with some younger kiddos who were along for the ride, allowed our students to step up and show off their loving natures and innate goodness to the Davis community. And, it was amazingly cute.

Thank you to our King families for sharing your amazing students with us, and with the Davis community! Thank you to Impossible Acres for letting all of our big kids enjoy their educational experiences.
